Stories from the Sea for You

One thing about the sea that always stays with you
is that there is no one way. No one way that things should be
and no one direction for fish to swim in
No one color standard for waters to comply with
and no one shape for you to be confined in
With ever-changing tides, there is no one way to flow
Your body dancing like cursive lines between currents
Limbs stretched in all directions, no one way to grow
Castles of coral forming and deforming as per their will
teaching us that there is more to life than to just exist
Plain surfaces bursting into song at your gentle touch
coexisting with depths of silent darkness underneath
Oh and to be the grass!
Choosing to transform into carpets basking in the sun
or like explorers forming transient roots in exotics lands
Under new moons erasing and creating terrain anew
uniting all creatures of the deep, no selected few
